A New Policy PAC Endorses Dan Osborn

Washington, D.C. (February 24, 2026) — A New Policy PAC today announced its official endorsement of Dan Osborn for U.S. Senate in Nebraska. Dan is running as an Independent, challenging Republican incumbent Pete Ricketts.

“A New Policy PAC is proud to endorse Dan Osborn for Nebraska Senate. As a union leader who always fought for his fellow workers, Dan has proven he can deliver,” said Tariq Habash. “He deeply understands both the economic and moral weight of our foreign policy; he knows that ‘Made in the USA’ should be a source of pride, not a label on weapons used against Palestinian families. In Washington, Dan will be a fearless advocate for Americans and our values.”

Served for Nebraska, Now Ready to Represent Nebraska in Congress

Dan Osborn centers Nebraskans. After serving in the Navy for 4 years, he joined the Nebraska Army National Guard. Afterwards, to support his wife and children, he began working as an industrial mechanic at the Kellogg’s plant in Omaha in 2004. He rose to the presidency of his union, the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union Local 50G, and successfully led the 2021 Kellogg strike, resulting in negotiated wage increases and helped preserve the benefit structure for over 1,400 workers. He has spent 20 years as a steamfitter and industrial mechanic, and continues to do so while campaigning for the Senate. He is determined to change the issues affecting working families.

“I’m happy to receive the endorsement of A New Policy PAC. We deserve a foreign policy that honors the decency and moral center of the American people,” said Dan Osborn. “Right now our priorities are out-of-whack. Americans go bankrupt from unplanned hospital visits while their tax dollars pay for bombs that knock over hospitals in other countries. ‘Made in the USA’ should be a point of pride, not a point of shame when it’s written on bombs that kill kids. Every child born into this world deserves a shot at a future. That belief should be at the heart of our foreign policy. That’s why I’m proud to stand with A New Policy PAC in that calling.”

Bridging the Gap Between Voters and Washington

Public opinion polls consistently indicate that most Americans support a balanced U.S. policy toward Palestine and Israel. America voters are clear: they do not want to be complicit in humanitarian catastrophe, and a majority want an end to the transfer of lethal weapons that are used to kill Palestinian civilians. Yet, elected officials have not kept pace with this shift in public opinion. As primaries and midterms approach, constituents are focused on candidates who will represent them. A New Policy PAC is harnessing the collective power of these Americans from all backgrounds and turning that demand for change into real political influence.

About A New Policy PAC
