Washington, D.C. (September 30, 2026) –– Today, A New Policy PAC announces its endorsement of Mai Vang for U.S. Congress in California’s 7th Congressional district. This endorsement reflects our commitment to backing leaders willing to stand against the status quo and demand that U.S. foreign policy be grounded in American values of equality, liberty, and justice.

Mai Vang is a lifelong organizer and fighter, a child of immigrants born and raised in Sacramento. In 2016, she fought for and passed the Safe Haven Resolution, ensuring that California schools were safe for every student and their families, regardless of immigration status. She helped establish the Sacramento Children’s Fund which gives $10 million every year to protect children affected by poverty, violence, and trauma. Mai Vang brought over $40 million in public investments to strengthen Sacramento neighborhoods and improve the quality of life of every community member. Mai Vang is prepared to fight for what is best for her community in Congress.
