An Experienced Fighter
Peggy Flanagan was born and raised in Minnesota by a single mother. Growing up with the help of programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and Section 8 housing, she knows the importance of protecting and fully funding these programs. As a trainer for Wellstone action, Peggy Flanagan helped thousands of grassroots activists fight for their communities. As co-chair of the Raise the Wage coalition, she successfully fought for Minnesota’s first minimum wage increase in decades. As Lieutenant Governor, she’s helped pass paid family and medical leave programs in Minnesota and secured investments in education, healthcare, and housing. Peggy Flanagan knows how to fight to make a difference for her community.
